Preferred - A Preferred Supplier has been awarded a university-wide agreement to supply specific goods and services at negotiated terms and pricing for the University’s ongoing operations. These supplier agreements are the recommended sources for the acquisition of goods and service. Competitive bids or price reasonableness documentation is not required for purchases of pre-negotiated items from these suppliers up to $250,000.00
Registered - A Registered Supplier is an available source for purchase order transactions in BuySite when the goods or services are not available from a Preferred supplier. While these suppliers have been established in BuySite for purchase order activity, normal procurement documentation requirements do apply
