The University of Chicago (“University”) is soliciting a Request for Proposal (“RFP”) to qualified Suppliers for a prototype Aluminum mirror which is part of the South Pole Three Mirror Anastigmat (SPTMA) telescope being designed by the Department of Astronomy and Astrophysics (A&A) within the Physical Sciences Division (PSD). The manufacturing and performance requirements for this mirror are specified in attachments to this RFP.
