The University of Chicago is expanding its Plumbing Contractors vendor pool. Plumbing Contractors will provide On-demand Plumbing Services for work under $250K to the University’s Campus buildings, Residence halls, and Residential properties. All plumbing contractors MUST meet the criteria listed below and be able to provide the necessary large and small tools, materials and equipment to perform the services under the agreement.
- Minimum of 5 full time Union employees on staff and signatory to local Union
- Must be able to carry general Liability insurance of a minimum of $1MM
- Licensed to do business in Chicago
- Capable of providing 24/7/365 coverage on a scheduled, emergency, or project basis
- No legal litigations/lawsuits
- Capable of submitting As-built, Shop Drawings and other job-appropriate information
- Experience working in higher education institutions is a plus
Interested plumbing contractors must express their interest via email no later than noon on February 7th to receive additional requirements for consideration for the RFP release.
