The University of Chicago is seeking responses from qualified partners to assist in developing a high performance on-premises compute solution (software & hardware) to replace a portion of our existing on-premises compute infrastructure. We are seeking a partner(s) who can work with enter for Translational Data Science (CTDS) to develop a solution that meets business requirements.
Please be advised that the requested quantities associated with this order are subject to change, as a portion of the total quantity requested is subject to funding approval under a Federal Contract. The University will notify you in writing in the event any changes to this order are necessary due to a denial of funding under the aforementioned Federal Contract.
Below are the requirements for a compute solution that we are seeking from a partner(s):
• 28x F619P2-RC0 (8 nodes per chassis)
• Chassis Size 4U
• All nodes 512GB of RAM at 3200Mhz
• 1x 240GB SSD for OS
• 2x 4TB SSD per node: SAMSUNG PM883 3.84TB SATA 6GB/S V4 TLC 2.5 IN 7MM
• 2x 6226R CPU per node ( 16 cores / 32 threads at 2.90 GHz )
• 1x 25G NIC per node
Response Timeline:
• October 25: RFQ issued
• October 26: Questions from vendors due 4 PM CST
• October 27: Answers provided to vendors
• October 29: Responses due 4 PM CST
Bidders are responsible for all costs of producing the proposal and submitting it on time. Bidders are encouraged to email the proposal with enough advance time so receipt can be confirmed within the deadline.
