Description: The University of Chicago (“University”) is soliciting a Request for Proposal (“RFP”) to qualified suppliers to produce a preliminary design and cost estimate for a high bay enclosure that will provide an environmentally controlled workspace to allow staff to work on the CMB-S4 South Pole Large Aperture Telescope (“SPLAT”) and receiver mechanisms and subsystems while being protected from the extreme South Pole environment.
