The University of Chicago is expanding its Chiller Inspection and Maintenance Services vendor pool. Selected Firm will be providing the following:
- Planned, unit-specific, periodic predictive or preventative maintenance of large chilled water systems and numerous campus buildings
- Planned elective unit-specific major periodic predictive maintenance, major repair or upgrade Work.
- Occasional trouble-shooting or unplanned repair
- Emergency maintenance and repair work
All interested firms MUST meet the following:
- 5 years of experience providing similar work described above
- Industry Certified Technician or engineer on staff
- All technicians providing this service shall hold current certifications for the instrumentation and software utilized in the services (i.e. Vibration testing)
- Must be able to carry general liability insurance of a minimum of $1MM
- Higher Education experience a plus
Interested firms must submit interest no later than noon on March 13th to be invited to the RFP.
