Sponsored Award Accounting

Sponsored Award Accounting (SAA) performs the central University post award accounting and other financial administration functions for all of the University's sponsored awards. It also prepares the Facilities & Administrative (F & A) and Fringe Benefit Rate Proposals that must be submitted to the federal government. SAA collaborates with University Research Administration and other administrative and academic units to develop and maintain financial policies, procedures and systems that are required to comply with the financial terms and conditions of sponsored awards.

Our mission is to provide award administrators and principal investigators with quality and timely support services and financial compliance guidance as well as to provide effective stewardship of awarded funds.
